STIROFILM
High-strength coextruded film

Advanced technical protection for heavy-duty cases and intense handling.

STIROFILM is a highly technical co-extruded film with multiple layers that offers extraordinary resistance characteristics both mechanical and to perforation. Made with special extrusion techniques and latest generation polyolefin resins, this material is ideal for covering and protecting crates during transport and storage, effectively resisting frequent overlapping and rubbing.

This industrial protection system provides excellent resistance to weather and UV rays for up to 24 months, maintaining flexibility and softness that facilitate application without risk of injury. In case of rain, STIROFILM is much more resistant than common plastics and is rigid enough to prevent water accumulation on its surface. It can advantageously replace traditional sheet metal and rigid materials, being easily applicable with a stapler and being heat-sealable. STIROFILM fits better and more securely on your packaging until destination, even after long storage periods.

STIROFILM is extremely easy to use, as a simple stapler is sufficient to fix it to the wooden crate. If necessary, STIROFILM can also be heat-sealed with an impulse polyethylene welder. It is also possible to apply special treatments to STIROFILM including flame retardant.

Its totally recyclable nature and high moisture barrier make it perfect for prolonged outdoor storage, available in rolls up to 8 meters in height or in sheets.

Accelerometer

An accelerometer is an instrument able to take and/or measure acceleration.

G Level (gravity acceleration)

The Shockwatch labels, ShockDots and Shockwatch Clips are devices containing a small tube with red liquid in suspension. If the device is subjected to an impact exceeding a specific G level, the shock causes the red liquid to leak out, clearly visible, in the tube.

Gravity acceleration is the acceleration that a body undergoes when it is left free to move in a gravitational field.

Pallet

A pallet is a flat transport structure that supports goods in a stable fashion while being lifted by a forklift, pallet jack, front loader or other jacking device. A pallet is the structural foundation of a unit load which allows handling and storage efficiencies. Goods or shipping containers are often placed on a pallet secured with strapping, stretch wrap or shrink wrap and shipped.
