The PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) is the new European Union Regulation that aims to make all packaging more sustainable, reducing its environmental impact and actively promoting the circular economy.
The PPWR objective is clear: by January 1st, 2030, all packaging placed on the market must be reusable and recyclable, meeting specific minimum percentages of recycled material.
Specifically, for plastic packaging intended for industrial use, the share of recycled material from post-consumer waste must be at least 35%, reaching 65% by 2040.
Propagroup has already achieved these goals well in advance.
